17th-Jan-2018 01:52 pm - AO3 Collection

AO3 Collection for Who Contest.

17th-Jan-2018 01:43 pm - Mod Note: Winter Break Ending
Sorry for the delay. Technically the winter break was supposed to end 3 days ago and time got away from me. I promise to restart the challenges next Monday, January 22nd. Please be patient and go ahead and provide recommendations for themes or fics in the meantime.

27th-Dec-2017 09:29 am - Winter Break: Recommendations!
Our holiday break begins today and ends on January 15th. We have a little less than a month before the next challenge, so I'm opening the community up for member recommendations.

You may recommend:

  • Your favorite fics

  • Your own fics

  • Favorite Vids

  • Favorite fanmixes

  • Dr. Who related meta, podcasts or anything else

  • Ongoing contests

I only ask that it is Doctor Who related, as well as the spin offs. Crossovers okay as long as it includes Doctor Who in some way.

You may begin!
As mentioned, during our Winter Break I'll be looking for theme suggestions in which to start 2018. If you have any other suggestions about what we can do to keep the community active, I'm open to them as well.

Please feel free to post below any and all suggestions or ideas you have for the community.

27th-Dec-2017 09:23 am - "Feminine" Winners
Here are your winners for the "Feminine" challenge!

1st place - The Fight Goes On by shivver13

2nd place - A Good Woman Goes to War by locker_monster

3rd place - The Beholder's Eye by serenityslady

Congratulations to all the winners! Thanks to all who participated and voted. I'll be doing a banner catch-up post soon.

We are in our official Winter Break. I'll be posting a couple more entries in a moment. Happy Holidays!
21st-Dec-2017 10:08 am - "Feminine" Voting
It's time to vote!

Please take the time to look over the following entries and vote for your favorite three: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places (NO MORE, NO LESS). THERE IS NO VOTING FOR YOURSELF, and only members and watchers may vote.

Please follow the rules on our profile page, vote fairly and do not get sock puppets or your friends to vote for you. Do not ask for votes outside the community. Please leave your votes as a comment to this post. The votes are all screened. All members are encouraged to vote, even those who did not post an entry. Please help our community stay active by reading and voting!

Vote like so:

1st - B. title, author
2nd - A. title, author
3rd - C. title, author

You must use the letter, title, and author when voting. Please use all three; it's much easier to tally that way. My voting system is simple: first place gets 3 points, 2nd place gets 2 points, and 3rd places gets 1 point when added up at the end.

The entries:

A. The Beholder's Eye by serenityslady

B. A Good Woman Goes to War by locker_monster

C. My Mistress' Eyes by roseglade

D. New Memories by matimae03

E. The Fight Goes On by shivver13

Voting will end on Sunday December 24th at 11:59 Central US Time, or until we get enough votes. Winners will be announced the next day and then winning banners will be up some time within the next week. Please vote and leave comments for our authors!

Please, please, PLEASE, find time to vote. It's not required for authors to vote but it's really helpful to all the other participants that DO read and vote to have a fair chance. I know it's not mandatory (and I've been considering changing that) but I really hope that I can have enough faith in you guys for full participation of this contest that means entering (if inspired), reading, commenting and voting. It really helps the community stay alive. Thank you so much!

We will be going on a short holiday break after this challenge. During our hiatus, I will be making a post to let you guys do recommendations and theme suggestions for the next year!
Reminder that this is the last day to get your "Feminine" one-shots in. Voting goes up 9 p.m. Central US time.
